ik geloof dat een creatief leven begint met nieuwsgierigheid. Met aandacht voor hoe je leeft, wat je ziet, maakt, verzamelt en wat je op je pad tegenkomt.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

in mijn werk vind je dat terug. i<\/span>k verzamel wat me raakt, e<\/span>en oud symbool, een gevonden object, een herinnering aan een reis of een eeuwenoude techniek. Het zijn vaak kleine dingen die een idee in beweging zetten.<\/span><\/p>\n

mijn manier van werken is intu\u00eftief. het begint zonder precies te weten waar iets zal eindigen. het materiaal stuurt en onderweg ontvouwt zich iets nieuws.<\/span><\/p>\n

de sporen van het maken mogen zichtbaar blijven. juist in de imperfecties, de texturen en het onverwachte zit voor mij de schoonheid.<\/span><\/p>\n

zo ontstaan werken waarin verwondering en liefde voor oude tradities samenkomen en nieuwe werelden ontstaan.<\/span><\/p>\n
